In Indonesia we are located in various sites. Due to the expansion of our program, We are seeking dedicated candidates who are passionate about our mission for the following positions:
TROPICAL FOREST INITIATIVE PROGRAM (TFI)
FORESTRY LEGAL SPECIALIST - based in Balikpapan
Should provide legal analysis and follow up including writing draft legislation, and advice on the legal aspects of various recommendations developed through National Committee on Forestry Conservation.
Qualifications:
Min master degree or equivalent and a license to practice in at least one jurisdiction. With at least 10 years related legal experience. and excel on the forestry ministerial regulation No. P.19/MenHut-II/2004 and Indonesian Forestry Law.
TERRESTRIAL COMMUNICATION AND PHILANTROPHY MANAGER - based in Balikpapan
Will planning, developing, and implementing the communication and outreach strategies to increase and sustain public awareness and support for forest conservation activities. Develops and fosters relations with key persons in selected media and related fields. Overseas the dissemination of information to local, regional and international media.
Qualifications:
Min bachelor degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Public relations or related field and 10 years related experience or equivalent combination. Master’s degree preferred. Knowledge of managing media relation with a proven track record in achieving high profile media result, Strong network of contracts in the media, government and industry.
CORAL TRIANGLE CENTER PROGRAM (CTC)
MARINE PROGRAM SUPPORT MANAGER - based in Bali
Provides programmatic support for the CTC marine conservation program in Indonesia. Coordinates work planning and supports project management by tracking progress against the work plans. Furthermore, may assist with proposal writing, and (s) he assist the Program Support coordinator with compilation of progress report. Should also finalized progress reporting, using drafts from field staff.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree (Indonesia: S2, preferred an international MSc) and/or at least 10 years working experience in environmental conservation, coastal community issues including previous experience working at a senior level, or equivalent combination. Experience in project management (design, planning, monitoring) Experience in coastal and marine conservation management is preferred.
MARINE LEGAL SPECIALIST - based in Bali
Provides Legal analysis/opinion and follow up including writing draft legislation, and advice on the legal aspects of various recommendations developed through National Committee on Marine conservation and possibility National Committee on Fish Stock Assessment.
Qualifications:
Min master degree or equivalent and a license to practice in at least one jurisdiction. With at least 10 years related legal experience. And knowledgeable on Marine Law and fisheries including Law 31/2004.
